Preflop charts by position
Opening ranges from UTG to the button plus BB defense, browsable and printable.
The same ranges the course teaches and the bots play. Suited above the diagonal, offsuit below.
How it works
A preflop chart answers poker’s most frequent question in a second: is this hand playable from this position? Here are the standard 6-max 100bb opening ranges for UTG, MP, CO and the button, plus big-blind defense against a button open (3bet and call, color-coded). They are exactly the ranges our Fundamentals course teaches and our practice-table bots play: a single source of truth. You can print each chart or open it in the visualizer to edit it.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the button open so many hands?
Because it acts last on every postflop street and only the blinds remain behind: position makes hands profitable that lose money from early seats.
Are these charts GTO?
They are simplified standard ranges for beginner and intermediate play, close to modern solutions but designed to be memorable. At that level, simplicity beats decimal precision.
